Mission
The mission of Toscana Life Sciences (TLS) Foundation is to support research activities in the field of Life Sciences and, in particular, to foster the development of projects, from basic research to industrial application. In order to reach this objective, TLS builds on the technological platforms and expertise available within the Tuscan scientific community, such as academic and private laboratories working in the biomedical field, offering its support in terms of financial, industrial and business development skills.
TLS is especially committed to projects and activities aimed at discovering and developing orphan drugs, as well as improving existing therapies for rare and neglected diseases.
