Orphan Diseases Call
TLS Foundation has taken a strong commitment to support applied research activities related to orphan diseases. Our final goal is to help people affected with rare or neglected disorders have access to drugs that they need to sustain and improve the quality of their lives.
Though TLS commitment will progressively improve in the near future, we are now putting in place our first tangible action in this field, by co-financing six projects of applied research focused on the diagnosis, treatment and cure of orphan diseases.
Projects eligible for co-financing must be conducted within Tuscan research institutions and the applicants should have a proven previous research experience in orphan pathologies.
