Anna Kabanova

Anna Kabanova is an immunologist interested in harnessing B/T cell biology for treatment of tumours and infectious diseases. In Siena she develops projects on mechanisms of tumour suppression and artificial cell therapies in B cell leukemia supported by the Italian Cancer Research Association, Italian Ministry of Research and European Innovation Council. Along with that, owing to experience in vaccinology and B cell response against pathogens, she collaborates with the Monoclonal Antibody Discovery lab (MAD Lab) research team at Fondazione TLS working in the identification and characterization of monoclonal antibody against pandrug-resistant bacteria.
Anna received her PhD degree from the University of Bologna and worked as a postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Antonio Lanzavecchia at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine in Bellinzona, Switzerland, and Prof. Cosima Baldari at the University of Siena.
